    Default Bourbon Barrel

If you follow me on FaceBook, you’ve already seen this, but as most of you know, I’m a bourbon and scotch drinker/collector (not that nasty Canadian crap y’all drink).
I came across this old, used, rotting bourbon barrel at an estate sale. I stole it at $60.
I broke it down, stripped it, re-finished it, and made it into a whiskey cabinet.

Never been a big Canadian whiskey fan, too sweet. I actually like Seagrams 7 over Crown Royal. Of all the brown juices, I like scotches the most.

There is nothing better than a 20 year old, single malt, cask aged Scotch.

Nice work. As for whiskey, I'm not really a fan of any of them. I much prefer beer ... and don't get me started on American beer.

Sweet you don't like? what about the non-canadian Southern Comfort or Jack daniels - LOL

I'm not the biggest Scotch guy, but I'm a fan of old (15 years or more) Laphroaig - very smokey and different. mmmmm
