    Default Battle of Resaca

A few shots from the past weekend's reenactment.

We were camped next to a train track so getting some early morning camp life shots were easy since I gave up on sleep.

Really old fashioned root beer, cream soda and birch beer. If you have get the chance, try it this way!

Here's a link to a bunch more including the battle and a memorial ceremony. Pay no attention to the grungy Boy Scouts. Some of the pics are actually theirs, I let them play around with the camera for a while. Funny the things that you find later when going through photos. Like the tomahawk flying through the air!

really like the one above the root beer.
that empty chair realy appeals to me.

I know I am asking for the perfect timing and split second reflex but if you had caught a bit more of the specticals, the shot might have had a deeper story for me.

Thanks. Those morning shots were pretty much exactly what I was hoping for the night before when I was watching the fog settleing in. The fun part was we got there after dark to set up camp so I had no idea what kind of photo ops there would be till I started walking around the next morning. Felt like a kid in an amusement park!
