Casual Portrait

I've been trying to get my granddaughter to pose for a portrait lately without much success. I gave up for a while and just decided to follow her around the back yard and see what I could get without a planned pose.
Got Lucky!
I caught a glance over her shoulder to look at something behind me. A nice tight head shot.
This one will be framed.

Nice candid capture. Trying to get them to stand still at that age is pretty much impossible! You gotta catch them when their playing. Take some sidewalk chalk out to the driveway or some Play Doh on the picnic table. That'll at least give you a fighting chance!

This is a lovely candid portrait - always remember to focus on the eyes though (sorry had to add that).
