Wow, it's kinda funny how everyone just seems to be standing around doing absolutely nothing while they watch... they're almost all in the same pose too.

Sylvana, welcome to the boards. What size was you image before you up loaded it? It has to be smaller than 275kb (or 1026 pixels in width) or the forum software will make it small for you and the image comes out soft (which I think you did here). One thing you can do is join Flickr on Yahoo. It is free and all you do is upload the image there and post a link to the board. That way you don't have to worry about resizing your image.

As for the shot, there are some things to consider.

First, soccor is played on a flat field. You need to rotate your imge so the horizon is level.

You also need to consider what is not important or distracting from the main subject of th image. I feel the two guys at top left and the pole and chaulk line are distracting. Think of it like this, what does you eye easily fall on in the image? My eye does not fall easily on anything and is all over the page.

Do you have any image processing software? If you don't, GIMP is free and with just a little practice, it is a great tool (it is a very basic Photoshop). Lightroom is also a great program and runs about $150.

I am a new photographer and picked up my first camera less than a year ago, and self taught myself some of the basic post processing technics (there are some great videos on Youtube to show you anything you want to do).

Can I have your promission to edit this image to show you how a little PP can go a long way?

I do have imaging process software but this was just a snapshot.
