Tom was not a bad man. In his mind he had done nothing wrong. Yet he could only wonder why he ended up in the dog house.
Did he forget a birthday or heaven forbid there anniversary. All he knew this was going to be a very long stay !

Hi monty. Thanks for the nice comment. No,Tom is actually not one of my carvings. He resides in a pump house, in the oil fields, out in the Oil Springs area in southern Ontario. The site of the first commercial oil well in North America.
A local artisan creates these wonderful life size sculptures from sheet metal and hand paints them. There are dozens of these folk art pieces in the area to capture with your camera.
I really enjoy exploring the Oil Springs area.
