Default The George Carter Jr. Trio

A friend was having difficulty photographing her husband who was in a band and invited a few of us from our photo club to come join her and maybe give her a few pointers. Here are some of my results. Gotta tell you it was tricky. This was with my new T3i and the setting were moved around a little bit but for the most part I was shooting ISO 6400, F2.0, at 1/125 or so.

Great set, but really loving the light in the first one. Nice B & W conversion.

Very nice set, Iggy! I am surprised by the low level of noise on your T3i at 6400. I use 50D and I find difficult to push my iso more than 800 to have an acceptable noise level.

Really like the black and white ones. Concert photography can be tricky, but you pulled these off nicely!

Thanks, everyone. IT was dark, dark, dark. My XSi would have been useless without adding flash. It only went to ISO 1600 and that was noisy as heck. The ISO performance of the newer cameras (and the T3i isn't that new) is getting better and better.

Very well done on the hole set Iggy. Really like the emotions in the first two.
