    Default Kite Surfing

I headed out on Sunday desperate for some new photography inspiration. It seemed I have exhausted my normal photo spots and didn't know where to go. Thanks to this months assignment I decided to try my luck at the beach in the hope there might be some kite surfers where I could "freeze the action". As luck would have it there were quite a few and I had one guy continually performing for me and showing off.

The last shot in the first post is an experiment in panning. It is the best of a bad lot, but thought I would throw it in here.

You sell yourself short my friend. The whole set is strong to my eye.
You have good crispness on most shots and the comps are all good.

I like the first one in the second set for the spray he is throwing up that creates a nifty background/bokeh-like frame for the skier. If I lived by the ocean....

Some of the expressions on their faces are priceless. Interesting look at the sport.

Thanks for that. I was actually fairly happy with the set. My comment about being the best of a bad bunch was meant to refer the various panning shots I took, most which are now in the recycle bin. It was still a fun play though that I will return to again after learning what I have from this outing.

MBrager, I am glad you liked the spray. I was aiming for the wall of water as a backdrop.

My big problem with all of these was that the handle always seemed to be in front of their faces
