Default Father's Day Dinner For a King (Warning Bacon and Chocolate at high levels)

Hey folks I am a bacon and a chocolate nut! There is nothing better in the world than Bacon and I could eat chocolate all day long.

A few years ago my wife and kids let me go to an airshow for the afternoon on Fathers Day. When I arrived home they told me to spend the afternoon in the backyard and enjoy a few beers. I was asked to cook my favorite Juicy jumbo hotdogs for dinner and then went inside when done.

    The menu was as follows.

    -Bacon hotdogs
    -Bacon Brittle
    -Bacon covered in chocolate
-Bacon tomato cheese and onion salad
    -Bacon ceaser potato salad
    -Bacon chocolate double layer cake

And 2 and a half years later I am still alive and kicking.

Now, I knew we were in the decade (century ?) of bacon, but you've just opened me up to a whole new world. Never even considered the bacon + chocolate combo.

Nice specular highlighting (not to wax technical..) on the bacon hot-dog pile ! Perhaps I should rephrase that last part.

Every year for Christmas, my wife takes large pretzel sticks, wraps them in bacon and dips them in chocolate after she bakes them.

I hate bacon and chocolate.....said NO-ONE ever! These pics look delectible! My friend and I also came up woth a concoction called baconaise which goes nicely at a BBQ....sooo many possibilities. I'm hungry for some reason

Thanks Marko. I was half in the bag when I took the shots so the quality was poor but the quantity of Bacon was awesome!
