8th Grade Dance Portraits

Well, since school was cancelled for the rest of the year, my youngest daughter was upset she did not get her 8th grade dance, before starting high school next year. So her and a few of her friends in the neighborhood, that are also in the 8th grade, decided to dress up and have me take their pictures like all the teenagers do before a dance.
I did make one giant mistake, forgetting the basic rule of shooting. The first 20 or so images I shot with my 70-200, but was shooting at an 80 speed. Every photo was bad. When I swapped to my 24-70, I was quite pleased.

Very nice set AT. Colors look good. Seems that 8thdance4 is out of focus.

a very small nit-pick is that on a couple of them the white flowers on the wrist are blown out. Don't know if you're a LR user but if you are there's a slider for highlights that would bring the details out in the blown out whites. but still over all a great set of portraits.

Yeah, That was shot with my 70-200. I am so out of practice, I forgot a simple rule, "keep your speed higher than the focal length". I was shooting at 1/80 speed and somewhere around 140-200mm
