Since most members here seem to be Canadian, independence day is out, how about a 'vacations' theme for one of the challenges...or maybe BBQ/picnic theme?
Keep an eye on that 'Tools of the Trade' project thread in the assignments forum...I try to add new pictures often!

For a level 2, how about a 'cold beverages' subject?

What about "opposites" eg hot/cold, old/new etc within the same image? I think this may have been suggested a while ago, but an alternative suggestion was adopted??

Sold - wonderful suggestions.
Cold beverages is our regular assignment and submissions should be done in this very thread.
Level 2 assignment is 'opposites' hot/cold, old/new etc within the same image
