Default October 2013 photo Assignment - Candy and sweets

Inspired from Art Walk, where we saw large photo-realist paintings of candy and sweets such as licorice allsorts and donuts. Halloween is in the month and candy is so colourful so I thought I would put that out there.

    I love this idea!

sound like it could be fun. I'm in. (also a good excuse to get a few treats)

    So you are suggesting 'Candy/snacks'?

Nope not exactly, candy and sweets is what I was thinking.

Here is the artist that inspired the idea:

You'll have to allow baked goods in the definition of sweets, because I can't eat most candy. USA, land of corn syrup in everything that doesn't run fast enough.

Another theme could be Haunting. Whether that's as an adjective or a noun is up to interpretation.

Haunting sounds like a pretty cool idea!

    Definitely donuts and cupcakes

U definitely like candy and sweets for level 1.

Haunting is one of those themes that 'could' be interesting as level 2...but might not get a lot of posts...that said if that's the theme that gets the most support - I have no issues at all.

Too funny Looks like Jas and bambi are addicted to candy and sweets - lol.
Really like the nostalgic feel to the Sweet tarts image bambi - Jolly rancher (which I friggen love especially watermelon and cherry) shot has some interesting processing and makes it look painterly!
    Jas your Breakfast shot Rocks.
