    Default Assignment ideas for 2015?

    Hi members!

So it's 2015 already and probably best to make a list of all the assignments now. For a past list of those assignments done thus far - here.

I'll let this simmer for a few days and then I'll make a new list of 12 regular and 12 level 2 assignments for 2015....as usual though, I prefer the input of members.

Here are some unused suggestions from the last round and a few off the top of my bald head.....

    What do you think?
    Got new suggestions?

Thx - looking forward to a new year of assignments!

I am thinking that level one seems to get the most submissions when it is more of a subject type of theme (eg colours, numbers, shapes or specific items). I wonder if it may make it more accessible to more people than concepts or processes.

from the above list (I haven't separated these out in accordance with my previous comment)

I also don't think it would be a problem to revisit some old assignments. Many members were not here then, and if they were then I am sure their ideas and photographic abilities and interpretations would have changed in that time.

some other stray thoughts - interpretations of an egg (idea taken from Freeman Patterson's book) - walking - strangers - black and white - making the mundane interesting - photos from only 1 room in the house (eg bathroom, kitchen) - bridges.

In the meantime I will keep thinking

Popular topics in photo sites: food, photo equipment, body parts, levitation, flowers, Lego, liquid splashes, timepieces, multiple exposures.
My New Years resolution is to do more of these assignments in 2015. I agree with RM, no harm in repeating some of the older assignments.
