    Thanks for the share but hmmmm - not sure I agree. That article was long and will be difficult for many to apply without an art-history lessons and practise.

    Rule of thirds - -It's not the holy grail of composition but versus no compositional rules....It still rocks as hard as it has for the past 600 years or so.

    Give 2 people 2 images where the rule of thirds was used versus not...
    In my experience - people overwhelmingly prefer the rule of thirds image. It's easy to explain, easy to apply and easy to see if it works for you or not.

    I'll keep the 'rule' and use it as a guideline as I always have.
