Default Sumo: Worlds Most Expensive Book

Well this was Contact Photography Show here in Toronto this past month as I mentioned in a post previous. During the month they had on TVO (TV Ontario) several documentaries for the month to celebrate it. I rarely watch TV but recalled they were on and I had missed them all or so I had thought but last night TVO replayed them all and the one I found very interesting was the one on Helmut Newton's book Sumo (The reason could be that I had seen all the others previously). It weighs 66 lbs and was 28" x 20" when it went on sale the price was $15,000 (USD). It was published in 1999 and was when put on the market the most expensive book ever released and the documentary on the book was great. Anyway if you do get a chance catch the documentary Sumo: World's Most Expensive Book, some great great insight to Helmut Newton works from him, his wife and several of his most famous models as they take one copy around to get is signed for a charity auction of the book.

Yeah, but maxing out the plastic would be one way of doing our part for the economy!
