Nice shots. Love the pier and the sunset...and the cat

Now I am disappointed. We recently went to San Diego and only got to the coast to see the USS Miday(http://www.photography.ca/Forums/f13...ary-17224.html) Oh well, something to see next time I get to the States.

Great set all around! Nice catch on the bird with the devil eyes! Are they really that colour or was it just the angle?

Very strong set indeed! Shot 1 is my fave here. LOVE the rolling pier and the "layering". I might work on the sky a tad more in this one because every other "layer" (as in a layered cake) is quite dynamic. I might crop it a good 1.5-2 inches..OR I might up the contrast.
Also really dig the sunset shot, and fab angle on the bird in shot 5.

Fantastic! I love the sunrise for lots of reasons- color, lines-- but I also love the buildings silhouetted in it. Also like #4s & 5- the contrasting bird lines against the plant's lines- and the rich colors.

    Thanks for the comments.
Jackie: thought you might like the bird and marina shots.
AntZ: It's a pretty big country. Impossible to see everything. I went over your shots of the wildlife park in San Diego and they are excellent.
Jude01: Thanks for taking a look.
Aubintbay: Yes they really are that color. There are many birds, I'm coming to realize with red eyes and yellow eyes, as well as black of course. This shot was taken in an open, multi-level aviary that had many species around, and many perches for the birds, so sometimes they were below.
Marko: really appreciate your comments on number 1. I see exactly what you mean about the sky needing more dynamics.
Celsky: Glad you liked these. Thanks for commenting on the details.
    Cheers.
    Mike
