    Default Clone tool in photoshop

I find when I use to clone tool on white objects like a white line in football field, there are remnants of the white line left around. It isn't so visible until you zoom in close.
Is there a solution to this that anyone knows of.

There are a number of possibilities: Opacity not set at 100%, Mode not set at Normal, the wrong brush settings: too small, too soft, insufficiently dense pattern, problems in the area that you are cloning from, etc.

Thanks. I tried some of those things and it works much better.

I find you have to be very careful to select the sample area very carefully especially if you are cloning a long line like a hydro wire or a fairly large object.
