    Default Digital Auto Painter

Been playing around with this program. I have not reached the level of expertism that I have seen on my google+ stream but here are a few examples of what I have tried so far:

A few different styles. As you can see, I have not yet paid for the program but I think it has the potential to make some nice images.

Wow, that really does work as intended. I wonder how it handles a portrait. Cool stuff.

Edit: Does it give you tools to manipulate the style and effect strength? Just wondering.

Kind of sort of, on some styles you can mask off areas that you want more realism in and you can point to areas with your mouse to add more detail. But basically it goes through its strokes and you just stop it when it looks right. It'd free to try, so give it a whirl. You may want to further edit it in photoshop or elements to suit yourself as well.

Thank you for posting that. You did a fine job with those.
I'll give it a shot..I see they also have a Mac demo version. So many toys, so little time!

    Thanks Jas - very cool.

I used to use a program years ago called Painter which is a complex painting program akin to Photoshop. They are now on version 12 i believe just in case anyone wanted to check it out. It's pricey but they also have a free trial.

That's cool. My girlfriend is a painter and she loves this processing. I will have to give it a try.
