    Default Wacom Tablet

I just got myself a new iMac. Yes. I am now one of the converted. First off, I want to say that transferring my photo software over to mac went very well. Everything converted over with little ado just had to upgrade my Silver FX, but other than that it was all cool. I am very happy to do editing on the much larger screen. I was on a laptop before but the imac has a 21.5 inch screen and has quad core and 4 GB of ram. I can add more ram to it but is it's running those programs with ease already.

So.... in the mac store I saw this:

Wacom Bamboo Capture Graphics Tablet - Apple Store (Canada)

The Wacom Tablet. It includes Photoshop Elements and Nik Colour FX, both not the latest versions but I have them already anyway. It also has software to allow you to hand write on photos and documents. It is a good deal, especially if you do not already have those programs, so I thought I would put that out there.

So do you use a table for editing?

I don't know much about them, and don't know that I have the need for one for the limited editing I do, but it does seem good value. I was interested to hear that there is a version that is a screen too, so you look at what you are editing. That would have to be the ultimate, just costs about 25 times as much!

Yes, Antz, the tablet and stylus work pretty much like a mouse.

I used to use a tablet many years ago, think it's up in the attic somewhere.... I remember it being very intuitive for editing... strange thing was I was looking at buying a new one earlier today....

I saw Vincent Versace using on of these the other day. He had it laying flat on a table. How cool is that?

I tried one or two of the Bamboo series. Never could get the hang of it, but that was before the iPad. I'm kinda use to swiping and all that manure now so maybe I should giv'em another try.
