It's great and you will find it works very well in conjunction with your PSE7.

Yep .. I use both. If I have no need for any layering or fancier processing then Lightroom is great and speeds up the usual processes nicely. It's sharpening sucks though. I don't even bother using it. I use the Clarity which is often enough.
Much of my processing involves LR first then PS7 afterwards.

Love it too. There are so many free presets available.
One note, I find a number of the built in presets(mostly sepia, aged photo and the like), a little too bright for me.

I just deleted 8GB of catalogue backups today. I didn't realise when you do your weekly catalogue backup it creates it in a new folder and does not save over the last backup. I wondered where my HDD space was disappearing to. Just thought I'd mention it incase others haven't noticed thats how it works.

I took a look at lightroom when the first beta was announced but havent thought about it since. then yesterday I decided to take another look...WOW.

Adobe has put this very cool site together (man they build good flash sites)
Adobe — Discover your Shortcut to Brilliant

has work by several photographers (I'm lovin Marcus Bell's work) and some cool vids where they talk about there favorite things within lightroom, photoshop n such.

I think I'll check out there demo...can't affor to buy at the moment.
