Talking podcast #54 - podcast suggestion - making the eyes sing

My question is: I know that you say to make the eyes sing. How do I do that? As it is, I hand hold the camera. I use the auto focus on my canon 5d usm lens. i hold my breath... i finally went out and got a monopod to help, but when i shoot vertical. i am being rude and dangerous. I have tried to set the lens on manual. that makes it worse as most of what i enjoy photographing isn't yet 4 feet tall and moves constantly. (My grandson is really Tigger in a cute kid disguise....boing, boing, boing...) Oops, see, there I go again. Sorry. I can hit the back key, but who knows, maybe you enjoy a little bit of sillieness in your day. Any way, any help is great. susan

Another good one Susan! and yup I'll add it to the growing list. There's a few tricks to it and I guess even though many of the solutions have been covered in other podcasts, it's an important enough topic to have a podacast dedicated to it.

    Thanks as always!

Well I'm finally up to date on the podcasts, have really enjoyed them all, thanks Marko, I'm going to miss hearing your voice throughout the day lol. Even if your voice does somehow remind me of someone from sesame street heh, it's a great voice for education

on most of the podcasts I've listened too I've thought ooh I have a photo that's a good example of that (even if it's a crappy photo lol) was thinking of going back through the forums and posting some into them, but don't want to overload it heh.

Thought I'd post one in here now that I'm up to date though, I'm not saying it's a great pic, but it's an example of emphasis on the eyes, and also it's me, and I like me, so it must be good :P

A good example PKMax! Thanks for including it.

Hey maybe I should end each podcast by saying this podcast was brought to you by the letter "B" and the number "4" LOL.

LOL, and if you occasionally drop into Count or Bert and Ernie it would be complete

sadly, they turned sesame street into sesame park, and now its rare to see even that play...
i think there was too much controversy surrounding bert & ernie. liked like what happened to ellen. maybe they will have a wicked come back too...
