    Default Found a Lady's Slipper

Though this place (Bow Valley Provincial Park) is usually loaded with wildflowers, Greg and I had a hard time spotting nice Lady's Slippers. I suppose a week or two will have to pass for them and other flowers to come out for our viewing and photographic pleasure.

Very nice Matt, well done. Another hard to find specimen around my area.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

Cool. I didn't even know yellow ones existed. They're almost all pink around here and I've seen pictures of white ones but this is the first yellow one I've seen. Nice shot.

Thanks all. Here in Alberta the yellow ones are the common ones ... it is pretty hard to find a white one, let alone a pink one; so count yourselves lucky if you have those in your area.

They should be out towards the middle/end of this week, with the heat we are having ... try the "Many Springs" trail in there ... there should be ample flowers on the descent to the lake.... left side ...
