Wonderful image. It reminds me of the sign in front of the cafe called "Ciboulette". Maybe that's a hint?
Agree with MA on this one, I believe ciboulette translates into chive

I think you're right, edG. I've heard the "chive" reference. My French sucks. They are somewhat similar though:
