Well, I said I'd play with it. Here's the results of some of my first attempts. I shot jpeg+raw so I could compare - seems like in good light there isn't much rescuing to do. Straight out of camera on the left, my attempts to work with raw on the right.

I really like your pastel-pink roses. The raw-pictures seems to have some more brightness. Really nice shots, you show here! And I'll never get tired about roses! Give us more!

I've already learned that truly red flowers make digital cameras Very Unhappy, especially when sunlight is involved. Maybe I'll have to hit up the rose gardens in Julia Davis Park and Lakeview Park to keep you guys happy.
