That 2nd shot is a unique view. Nicely done.

Thanks. It's the goat's beard after it's gone to seed. The flower closes up tight for a few days after it's done blooming, and you can see the fluff developing before it opens up again like a giant dandelion. Lots of fun to watch.

Great closeup! Love number 2 here.

I like both views on this. Both show a different perspective of the plant.

No, I don't mind. I do want to mug you for your macro lens, though. Is the choice of subjects a case of great minds thinking alike, or have the space aliens performed a super secret mind link surgery on us?

alien surgery...wansn't that a Geraldo episode??

Funny that the shot up there wasn't taken with my beloved OM 90mm f2 macro, it was done with the almost as equally beloved Zuiko Digital 12-60mm zoom. It focuses incredibly close and is sharp as hell.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

Thanks, everyone. I'm starting to see them all over the place. Maybe I'll revisit them once they start losing some of their seeds.
