Memorial to dad

I found this little memorial cross to someones dad above Coolum Beach. I can only assume he jumped or fell off here.

Aw :( That's touching. The presence of the cross changes it to a "cool" dramatic, to a "sad" dramatic for me. Very nicely caputured, MA!

Very dramatic looking sky and wonderful colours. I think you've captured a wonderful scene here. The cross certainly makes you wonder just why it's there. Great shot!

We get a lot of those by roadsides where someone's died in a crash. Seems like a similar thing there and does add a bit of the unexpected.

We also get the roadside crosses everywhere. This one wasn't by the roadside though. I guess he decided to jump the rail and get a better look. Either that or was swept off the rocks while fishing and they chose this spot above for the cross.
