In Tasmania I've never seen so many small furry creatures dead on the roads. Very sad.

I wonder what type of snakes they mean here Casil?

Probably the ones that keep the rodent population down and thus the pilferage of crops.

The snake in the sign looked like a rattler. I think this for sure is rattlesnake country so I imagine those are the ones in which the sign refers to.
