    Excellent to catch the moon handheld. It looks to me like you've recoloured the sky and it had caused some strange colour/artifacts.

    As MA said, the moon surface looks pretty good but there is something definitely off with the edges.

    Thanks for the comments. I think I pushed it too much in PP.
    Here is another try. The sky was blue at the time I took the picture but I think this works better.

    Absolutely! I like this one a lot more. If you want to get a more blue sky on the moon you need to shoot earlier in the day. One thing we don't often realize is that moonlight is reflected sunlight and so it's actually very bright so you'll end up with a fast shutter speed which will darken the sky. The earlier you can get the shot the more blue the sky will be.
