New lily, new lens
traded in my nikkor 1.8 D for the new 1.8 G, although this flower is not doing well in the heat over the last two days the lens performed flawlessly
iso 100, f 5.6, 1/400 sec. 50mm
reasons for upgrading the lens- new lens has the silent wave motor (autofocuses on my D5000), they added an asperhical lens element and still kept the price point reasonable.
