Default my random wanderings in the city...

A bit of a mixed bag this lot some candid street stuff and a bit of fun with my wide angle. All shot on 35mm film. My camera is a Nikon F401x a.k.a N5005. i sometimes use the wide angle 10-20mm lens I bought for my D90 on it because I like the effect and it's a bit of fun. Genreally a am shooting with a 50mm, I like this for the candid street stuff.

    Thanks for looking

My fave is 1, i dig the angle in that shot (watch for brightness problems though) but I also like #3 for it's moody feel based on the processing.

Shot 4 has a casual pose by a cool dude, but the whole image is soft.
Shot 5 is a very strange composition with that plant on the left. Can i ask what about that composition attracted you to it?

Hi Marko, thanks for the feedback as always. I am glad you asked about number 5. This is a very famous Irish landmark building, it is the former custom house from when Ireland was part of the UK. It is a fantastic looking building and a very fine example of James Gandons work. I have many "normal" photos of this building but the last time I walked past it I spotted that they had planted palm trees at the front of it. It made me laugh as a palm tree is not something that many associate with inner city Dublin. I had the 10-20mm on the camera so I ran with what I had. I happen to like how the composition turned out so I posted it to the internets. I don't think it will be to everyone's taste but it made me wish the "breaking the rules" assignment was still running.

Number 3 is straight out of the camera, developed/snacced, no other processing I had just using the 10-20mm DC lens on my film body.

I think 4 is soft, I missed the focus but again I think the film has been kind to me here.

    Thanks again for the comments.
