    Thanks to everyone for the comments. I have been enjoying the backwoods drives. As Marko noted some of the pics were a little underexposed......this thing of shooting landscapes in the winter is a bit of a challenge! I will probably get it figured out around the end of March when the snow is just about gone.

    Susan....some of the darkness here is definitely a "me" problem. This series was shot on a dark grey day without even a hint of the sun....but not quite as dark as the pics show. The closer shots into the bush where I have more going on than just white snow, dark bush and grey sky came out much better. I re-shot #2 on a lighter day and it came out much better. No grey skies and no snow in the distance gave it a bit more depth.
    I am not really all that far north. All my pics lately have been shot in and around Ear Falls, Ontario. Heck only 70 kms away in Red Lake I can get my Timmies! ( and I have)
