I purposefully blew out the background on this shot and ended up with a mostly in-camera "painterly" effect.
(The border is via the forum's html options. I couldn't figure out how to wrap it on the edge of the image or change the color.)

I purposefully blew out the background on this shot and ended up with a mostly in-camera "painterly" effect.
