This is what I woke up to. Beautiful sunrise over the rock hills out back along with a nice thick fog.
Saw this on my way to the marsh for some wildlife shots.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
Great moody photos, very enjoyable to view.

Love the atmosphere in these shots... that second one is very cool.

A painter takes their vision and makes it a reality. A photographer takes reality and makes it their vision.
With light like this who wants to sleep? Lucky you getting up that early and being able to go and shoot ... I live in the freaking concrete jungle ... how envious I am ...then again,I get to go places once in a while.
Both shots are very nice, and I am not sure which one o prefer; they both have merit. Love the comp and light in the first, and love the mood and light in the second. Second has nice minimalistic features, and it is superbly processed. Keep em coming, HBG, I am a fan!

Thank you very much Richard, Neil, and Matt. So glad you enjoyed viewing these.
Matt, love pics of the concrete jungle myself. So many angles/perspectives to shoot, and I really am a people watcher, and love getting candids of different characters from all walks of life. You live in a certain type of photographers dream actually, just as long as you are the type to utilize it. Which I am sure you can, with your skills, and eye for composition.
Even though I know down deep, you really love the wilder side of the outdoors.
