    I think the center of that first shot is just "the bee's knees". I don't know how much work was done in post, but I suspect that what we see is pretty darn close to what came out of the camera.

    Thank you very much BF and MA.
    Not much pp at all. Pretty much just a quick sharpen is it on first shot, and just a little slide back on the highlights, contrast, and a slight sharpen is pretty much all on second shot. Shot with a Canon 1D MkIV with a 100LIS Macro attached, handheld, is all. The nice early morning light helped a lot.
    Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

    Wow! I'm impressed with the sharpness, especially being that they're handheld shots. Very nice images.
