The county really did a lot of little things well. There is an area with all sorts of platforms and picnic areas, a small stage, bathrooms (with a newer, larger one being built) that run on a set of solar panels, available water, extra long parking places for people towing trailers, a boat ramp with dock, and small trails leading out of the parking area. It was all clean and well maintained. It's on my list of places to get back to.

Interesting shot that first one. I'm with MA wondering what those are. When I first looked I thought lawn mower blades.

Actually, I just thought it was neat. I have no idea what it's for. The overall shot I've included here is from the back, so it's hard to see that there isn't a seat. It's near the boat dock, so I wonder if it has something to do with dealing with any fish caught, or with cleaning something from a boat. We have an "invasive species" tag, with requirements to wash certain things before putting them in a different body of water. Maybe someone more into boating can help us out.
