Photography is more than just taking a picture and freezing the action, or leaving the shutter open. It is more than orchestrating the image with the stroke of a brush. Its the realization and explanation that reality is an isolated experience in which only a specific individual can comprehend during any given time period. - Your Truly!

Fun shot! Can you give us a little behind the scenes on this one? Curiosity forces me to ask

Are you sure you want to know??

LeAngel and I went on a small hike this morning to the same area we took the P&S last weekend. I knew we couldn't get far up the gorge again but figured we might find something nice to shoot anyhow.

It was raining up there but only drizzle so we made our way down to the creek line. In between rain showers, and LeAngel getting 6 leeches (I got none ) we managed to find a few things to snap away at.

When I'd taken what I thought was my last shot I headed back along the path to find LeAngel. Thinking about the steep walk out and the drive home I decided it was time to stop and free Sir Hardalot from his fabric prison and enjoy a few moments of urinal release.
Anyway I'm hanging onto 'Skin Man' there and just gazing around, and I spotted the nest not 2 metres away and figured it might make a nice subject.
The leaf inside the nest suggested to me that the occupants were no longer occupants and had probably moved up town to something fancier ... perhaps a better view of the creek?

And that's about it Michael ... thanks for asking
