    Default Ice Out!

I was up at Algonquin Park last Friday getting some documentary shots of the ice going out (it was only still present in the middle of the Highway 60 corridor so I'm glad I didn't wait any longer!). There's one wetland area along the route though that has always been good to me, and today was no exception. The ice had obviously left only a day or 3 earlier and it was raining lightly, soaking the bush completely. That, of course, really brings out a whole lot of richness in the colours, particular in wood and leaves. I'm a big fan of wetlands and wild spaces, and this one didn't disappoint. Hope you like it.

Thanks for this Marko. Actually on my end it looks a little pixelated. Not sure what happened but I may have another go at it tonight if I get time. The original on my machine looks fine so it's something I did in the compression I guess.

    Thanks again
