Massive Flood in Calgary 2005 vs 2009

I took some shots the other day of the bridge over the Elbow River to compare it with the exact same shots at the height of the 2005 flood. The first is what it looked like last week (March 2009) the second is the same shot in 2005.
I borrowed the idea from JJ and his recent flooding series...figured I'd share what happened here 4 years ago! I'm sure many of you Albertans remember!

The last shot I found rather amusing with all that was going on around him and that river a block away...the last thing I'd be thinking is to make sure the grass is done?
