Which one works the best?

They both work;

The first one has wonderful light I like all the acorns on the ground

The second one looks like a stylized illustration

If I had to pick I prefer the first one.

I'm with Greg, the first one is the best shot.

I'll echo Greg's thoughts exactly.

Both are wonderful in different ways.

I love them both for different reasons. Number two looks like it belongs in a scene from Lord of the Rings. Number one is just a great natural photo!

No doubt in my mind: #1 is the best.
