Familly portrait

This is a discussion on Familly portrait within the Show your photo (Color) - Landscape & Nature (flowers, mountains, storms etc.) forums, part of the Photography & Fine art photography category; I've posted a few shots of these shrooms but I'm happy with this rendition the most...Today...At this moment!...

Very nice colors and composition. Mom is wearing a skirt and the child has to be a boy with all that dirt on him.

Oh nice find M! It really does look like a little family indeed!

I like the treatment very much also. You've managed to somehow get an almost metallic gleam from the red tops. Impressive.

This is a great pic, love the 'shimmer' of the red. Cute little family.

I really like this Maw!!! what a cute family! Not the critique forum but...I'd like this even more if the highlights in the top right corner were toned down.

Thanks for the comments all. I do Like Raivens observations . Tough to shoot I found...I would be walking through the forest wiping cobwebs off my face and squeezing between what seemed like jungle trees. Itching like a buuger from all the weird stuff that's fallen down my back! I'd see a great group, move toward the best light, inadvertently kick a small stick that would whip across the forest floor mowing the mushrooms down, turn around to take the shot ...And they're all dead. The stick killed them! Man they are fragile
