Paper Bark Gum Trees

I thought I might show you our paper Bark trees. As you can see they shed their 'skin' like a snake!

Cool....we have arbutus on the west coast that do pretty much the same thing!
Ours shed brownish bark and underneath is this Beautiful green colour!

I too think that they are cool but must make a mess.

That first one ..it's HDR right? If so well done. I find if I have a high aperture it makes HDR come out bad sometimes! (the leaves at the beginning of the photo)

Yes Kat the 1st is an HDR.
They do make a lot of mess too.
The back is really soft. You can push your finger right into it. It feels spongy.
