    Default Three years

For some reason I was thinking about how long I've been shooting with DSLR's and it's been three years and four days. This was the first image I had the courage to upload back in 2006 and It was day one at deer lake with a camera. LOL...It was an Olympus E-500 and everything was set to auto It took at least a month to start trying the manual settings. Three years passed ( felt like eight for some reason) and it's wild for me to look at my work then and now

    Nostalgia

PS...I remember now why I was thinking about day one, I was just notified that three of my images are to be published in a new book. The book is about divorce, or one mans experiences with but I'm happy I got some stuff published This is the book...LINK

You had an eye for composition back then too M! Is your manual work much better though?

    Congrats on the book!

No MA...Manual just gives one the feeling of control. I'm going back to full auto in the new year.

Wow time is flying fast......I agree with MA, you always had the eye for composition, now it's just more refined.

I like this shot. But I also agree that your current work is stunning.

in our family sarcasm is a genetic trait. The spouses run for cover when we all get together. but I don't think that MA was being sarcastic here.

Probably just trying to lull you into a false sense of security.

congrats on the book MAW! can we see the pictures?
