By viewing the larger version, zooming in and scrolling across I find it appears quite like it did to my eye on the day.

Good stuff MA, did you do this hand held, tripod, panohead?
Kat try hand held you will be amazed at how good you can do it. Nodal point pano heads are mainly required if you are shooting close to the camera or VR photos. Scenic images usually stitch together quite well without using a specialized head. I only play with these things since I am a better technician than photographeralso I am working on virtual reality tours. There is a very effective method using a string and laser pointer.
