This is a discussion on tree light within the Show your photo (Color) - Landscape & Nature (flowers, mountains, storms etc.) forums, part of the Photography & Fine art photography category; This caught my eye on my walk today. Husband says 'frame it'. I'm not so sure....

Oh yeah...I'd frame it if it were me!

thanks for the comments guys. and I know it's not the critique thread but since you said frame it- why?

for me, I like the starkness of the lines and the light behind it. Sort of abstract. But I wasn't sure if it was cliche or not?

I like it. The intricate pattern seems to almost envelope us and the darkness and starkness is very cool as well. It's a beauty.

    thanks MA!

I think I may be becoming too critical. Every shot I take I think 'nice but....' or 'crap'

we're all our own harshest critics.

i like the moody, ominous feel of this one... has a sort of "Ghost of Sleepy Hollow" feel to it...

I'm the same. I rarely think I've got an absolute winner. Still waiting for the day I get a shot I think is as good as it could have been!

Me three. I go back through photos and never like any of them. I hate it and wish it would go away. I used to like lots of my photos..it's becoming less and less.

Now, on to your photo. Great darkness/light! I love the sharpenss and clarity of the branches! I'd frame it, it would be a great photo in a spot one walks by to make them spot for a moment!
