I like the first one for its color and textures. The lighting is cool too, did you use the onboard flash here?
Actually I like them all for different reasons.

thanks Michael! Yes the flash was used here. I don't have an external flash yet. Still figuring out the bells and whistles that came with the camera.
it is a cool tree though. and I am sorry Michael but I've watched it for a few months and I can assure you it is dead. It's definitely not pining for the fjords!![]()

I like the way the on board handled the first shot, to my mind it got a decent fill light splayed out across the scene which IMHO gives the shot legs.
Very nice series Bambi. I especially like the second shot.
I've seen similar sights in my travels (lots of deadfall in NS) but have never really felt like I could do them justice. This is a pretty good attempt here, Bambi. Nice captures. The first is my favourite too. The fill light helped nicely.
