There was an interesting photo exhibit in Canmore at the Public Library. Among other excellent photos, there were two pictures of water and snow printed on silk, then cross-stitched or crocheted (I'm not sure which) with shiny thread where the water was visible. Made for a nice effect. Wish I had taken a picture to show here.
