Default More from Back in my Film Days

Dug through and found a few more we had scanned. Seems much of my old photos are lost or still hidden in a secret box somewhere.

Anyhow ... here's a few spanning from 1993 through to 1998 when I sold my SLR.

I was never an avid photographer in those days. Wanted to be, but could never afford to get the best gear or get the films processed. So I was more just the Dad with a flash camera who seemed to get a few right now and then. Actually, I didn't do too badly most often.

1993 - we used to go the drags a lot back then

    1994 - Allyce on a slide

1994 - Chantelle feeding an Australian King Parrot

    1994 - Fireworks

    1994 - my brother's 65 Chev Impala

1994 - My Brother Graeme. No photoshopping here. This was done with a torch and a flash and long shutter. The shadow is actually Graeme as well.

1994 - Graeme again ... and again. This time done with two separate flashes on the same shutter, hence why he's not quite in frame, it was pitch black and he had to move and tell me when he was in position again.

1994 - Sexy. Notice the soft filter effect around the outside of the photo. This was done by cutting a small hole in a pair of Leanne's stockings and stretching that over the lens.

1995 - Playing with flash and backlighting with Allyce and Chantelle. What the hell was I thinking with a landscape orientation here??

1996 - Allyce with a sparkler. Chantelle was too chicken to hold one that night

1996 - Chantelle on skates. I liked my screw-on starburst filter.

1998 - A shot from off our boat

    That's it

Lol, very cool! Some really nice photos M.A. You can tell it was the early 90's by the overuse of blush.

Thanks Marko. Considering I was never serious back then by comparison to now, I'm happy with what I captured.
