On my walk around a pond this morning, I found a stand of the most gigantic and majestic hemlocks. Sheltering beneath the spreading boughs was this -
After the sun came around, I spend a while just sitting and appreciating the stillness. Some nearby turtles had the same idea.

beautiful colour! I took a similar shot today for the exact same reason. However I have no idea if it's turned out half as good as this one yet.

Thanks guys. The color is SOOC, no adjustments, moss likes rain evidently.

Very nice! Moss is a rarity on the dry bald prairie.
