    Default Hirtle's Beach, Nova Scotia

I went to a different beach today. the weather was stunning. Hirtles Beach is around Lunenburg NS and I will post the link in the forum for locations.
Here's the bench you see from the parking lot. The planks have names engraved on them. I believe that you can purchase one to contribute to the boardwalk.

this the view of the beach. It's a combination of cobblestones and white sand. See the far left point? That's Gaff point. Which is where we are headed. But the hike there is so lovely it will have it's own thread.

the water was such a beautiful shade of blue/green:

    and here's a drama shot

The names in the boards are for those that made donation to the restoration of the beach. If you look carefully you can find our names. On another note: I am not sure I will get use to "Bambi" The only thing I think of when it comes to Bambi are deer and in my neck of the woods there are four legged rodents that eat our garden.

Beautiful series of shots Bambi. You sure seem to have an endless abundance of photogenic scenery at your disposal. Thanks for sharing another series of hiking pics.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

that's what I figured. LOL re: my name. There is a story about this name. It hearkens back to my university days. I resurrected it for the internet.
