Really likin' your trip so far asnow. I have enjoyed looking at all the photos even if I am not commenting on all of them.

I think this is one of my favourites. The glow of the cigar and the smoke really add to the character of this portrait

No problem Runmonty. Comment on as many or few as you like. The main thing is that you are enjoying them. This is one of my favourites as well. I have to submit about a dozen images to Doug Kaye so can put together a book on the trip. I sure this will be one of them. Any suggestions on choosing the dozen will be appreciated.

I will try to rank my favourites if I find some time over the weekend. Off the top of my head, definitely include this one and "watching the world go by" and the young dancer with the background that I commented on.

Just had another look through and following are the ones I would be considering for submission. Of course it is all personal preference

    cigar
    watching the world go by
    ballet school # 3
    ballet school - last shot
    the flag
boxing # 3 but would consider a vertical crop and slight dodging of the reflection
bars and also consider a slight dodge of her face
    baby ham
    luxury accommodation # 3

WOW. I didn't expect such detailed analysis. I appreciate your input.
My thinking is to choose pictures that the others wouldn't have taken so mine would be unique. For example: "ballet school - last shot" - everybody got that pic so would likely not choose it.
