You ever not care for an image but fell in love with it after printing?

My neighbors recently redid their dining room into a "Man Cave" of sorts. They did it in the style of old New Orleans, wood floors, brink walls, etc. They wanted some of my New Orleans images to print and decorate the room. I sent them a bunch and they picked a few. The night we were ordering the prints, they came across this New Orleans image and asked why I didn't show them this one. I told them I never cared much for it, some thing just wasn't right with it. They insisted on printing it, and making it one of the two the center focal points of the room. They spent $200+ to print it on metal. They (we) were drinking and I kept telling them to not do it. The other center point was a huge canvas wrap of my Pirate's Alley.
When the prints came, I was was dumbfounded at this image printed.

Both are strong images for sure and I still like them after a coupla years.
Shot 1 has a wonderful luminosity and shot 2 has a great mood!
